Some people love watching dramas but I love comedy movies. ❤️I think there is nothing better than to crack up and laugh till your belly is hurting. I always feel happier and more energized and optimistic. As they say, laughter is the best medicine.
Over the years, I have watched hundreds of comedy movies from different countries and in different languages. I have gone through endless lists of best comedies to search for inspiration. But to be honest, most lists featured comedy movies that were either not hilarious or that were super old.
That’s why I decided to make my own list of the best comedies ever made. The movies on my list make you laugh, slap your thighs and watch funny scenes over and over again. Most of them also make you contemplate about your life, friendships, love and values.
For some reason, comedy movies don’t get as much critical acclaim as more serious and artistic films but I think it’s wrong. I would even say that it’s more difficult to produce a great comedy movie than to produce a great drama. Let’s celebrate the art of comedy!
